A Model Context Protocol server on top of Dremio that lets AI agents answer natural-language questions over enterprise datasets, with the same permissions and audit trail as a human analyst.

About Dataotter
The people behind Dataotter
Hamiz Ahmed founded Dataotter in Nuremberg in 2025. His work combines AI engineering with writing about agentic fine-tuning and the practical challenges of deploying language models.
We work in small teams and short iterations, with the engineers involved in both planning and implementation. Documentation and handover are part of the delivery.
Alongside client projects, we develop Meistra and the open-source Mac Screencast app. Building and maintaining our own software keeps us close to the day-to-day work of running a product.
